Finally!

This has been long awaited, but yes, we're finally going to have a baby around May 5, 2011. My due date is about a week before our 9th wedding anniversary. I know, I know, most of you are thinking that it's about time. Jeremy and I are both very excited, anxious and nervous. I'm about 10 weeks now and wish I could say that I feel great, but unfortunately, that is not the case. I have a whole new respect for all you super-moms that have done this before. Between the nausea, headaches and exhaustion, it kinda feels like I'm chronically ill. But, I'm sure it's all going to be worth it and I have to feel better eventually...right? Jeremy went to my appointment with me on Thursday and we were both overwhelmed with new emotions, seeing our little one moving its tiny arms and legs and the flutter of the heart beating on the ultrasound. I can honestly say that I fell completely in-love with the baby the moment I saw it. As you can see in the ultrasound picture, it's quite cute (and round). This is definitely going to be a learning experience for both of us, so any advice that all you experienced parents might have would be welcomed. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed with everything we need to do to prepare for the baby, but our first goal is to get into a house again so we can accommodate our new addition. In the meantime, we're excited to share our news with everyone and we'll keep you posted.
